Catherine Lezer
SCA (WA) Immediate Past President
After various finance positions and property directorships, Catherine developed a passion for adding value to apartments and apartment buildings. Adding value to Catherine is more than just renovating. Efficiency, Asset Management, Facility Management, Sustainability and Community Building are as important to Catherine as aesthetic appeal. Catherine is an elected Councillor for City of Perth, a member of Heritage Council WA, and serves on several planning committees. Catherine is equally at home on the stage or up a ladder renovating - just not too high! Catherine has a Diploma of Financial Services, Bachelor of Business, Master of Business Administration and is a graduate and member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
To improve the governance of SCA (WA), all Board members have for disclosure of conflict of interest completed a Register of Interests. Also, to reinforce what is implicit in being a Board Member they have signed a Duties & Responsibilities of Board Members. Further, Board has adopted a Code of Professional Conduct for Council Members, similarly to the way SCA (WA) has standards for members.
