Michaela Carr
Master of Ceremonies
Michaela Carr is a well-known broadcaster, currently on air at 96FM in Perth. She has also worked as a presenter on ABC Radio and at 6PR. Michaela is an in-demand emcee and speaker, having worked in the industry for more than 20 years. She is a skilled trainer in all things media and also conducts weddings and funerals.

Dr Grant Lester
Consulting Forensic Psychiatrist
Dr Lester is a retired consultant forensic psychiatrist who worked with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health and served on Victoria's Mental Health Tribunal. His expertise includes treating severe psychoses and personality disorders in secure facilities and prisons. His private research focuses on vexatious complainants and litigants, collaborating with Ombudsman’s Offices and Courts across Australia. Dr Lester trains staff in courts, government, and private organisations on managing complex clients, unreasonable complainants, and aggressive behaviours.

Tamara Callaghan
Discern
Tam-rah Callaghan Cooke (or just Tam) has been a trainer and coach for the past 20 years. She works with her husband Andy Cooke at their company Discern doing leadership and communication training and coaching, and she loves all the people stuff – how we can play well with others - and crucially - ourselves! She is also thrilled to announce that she has just launched her promised Podcast, called 50/50.

Alisha Fisher

Alisha Fisher has been the Chief Executive Officer of SCA Australasia for over five years. With over two decades of experience in the not-for-profit sector, she holds both an MBA and the prestigious Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alisha is a skilled leader with a track record of driving change and achieving results. She advocates for collaboration and partnership and has built close relationships with government departments at all levels.

Andrew Chambers HFSCM
SCA (WA) President
Andrew has been a pillar in the Strata Community Management industry for 30 years. As the Managing Director of Chambers Franklyn Strata Management, he has made significant contributions to the field. Actively involved with the Strata Community Association since 2001, Andrew has served on both state and national boards, including 18 years with SCAWA and six years on the national board, retiring in 2021 after three years as national President. He was awarded life membership in 2021 and the national Presidents Award in 2022 for his service. Andrew is passionate about promoting professionalism in the industry and mentoring newcomers.

Greg McGuire
Principal Policy Advisor, Landgate
Greg McGuire, the Principal Policy Advisor at Landgate, leads the Legislation and Policy Team. With over 15 years of experience across all government tiers, Greg brings extensive knowledge. He played a pivotal role in implementing Operating Requirements for eConveyancing in Western Australia and was paramount within the Strata Titles Act Reform Team. Greg continues to be central in Landgate’s strata and community titles efforts, shaping their progressive approach with his expertise and dedication.

Hon. John Carey, MLA
Minister for Planning, Lands, Housing and Homelessness
John Carey, an active inner-city community member for nearly 20 years, co-founded the Beaufort Street Network and Festival. He led the Kimberley Conservation Project and, as Mayor of Vincent, drove reforms in transparency and town renewal. Elected State Member for Perth in 2017, he now serves as Minister for Housing, Local Government, Lands, and Homelessness.

Josh Baldwin FSCM
SCA Australasia President
Joshua Baldwin has been a dedicated professional in the strata industry since 2011 and is currently the Principal and Executive Director of Munro Property Group in South Australia. His involvement with the Strata Community Association (SCA) began in 2013, where he served as a Chapter Board member and later President of the SA/NT Chapter. During his six-year presidency, he led the successful merger of the South Australian and Northern Territory chapters, fostering greater industry collaboration.
In 2023, Joshua became Immediate Past President to focus on national initiatives, serving as Vice President on the national board and driving key policy changes. In July 2024, he was appointed President of SCA Ltd. His leadership includes active participation in advisory groups on government relations, marketing, events, and the Strata Electrical Vehicle Infrastructure Taskforce.
Joshua is also a strong advocate for mental health awareness and work-life balance in the industry. His community involvement and volunteer work further demonstrate his commitment to building vibrant, connected communities.

Tim MacKenzie is the National Head of Macquarie Business Bank’s strata segment, which focuses on providing business & banking solutions to business owners and key industry figures nationally.
Having worked at Macquarie for the past 20+ years, Tim has experience that draws from a diverse portfolio, primarily specialising in strata management industry.
